MANILA — Actress and singer Sharon Cuneta announced that she will be establishing her own management company to oversee her career across various departments.
In a social media post, the Megastar said the yet-to-be-unveiled company will manage her schedules, projects, and overall career.
Cuneta revealed that her longtime producer and friend Eloisa Matias will join the company to represent her in corporate guestings, musical shows, and all music-related activities. Matias has collaborated with Cuneta since the late 1980s as a music researcher and executive producer on “The Sharon Cuneta Show” and “Sharon”. She also helped produce major concerts, including Cuneta’s silver anniversary show, her 40th-year concert, and the “Dear Heart” show, as well as five of the singer-actress’ albums.
Cuneta also confirmed that Maricar Ong, her executive assistant since 2011, will handle her television appearances and movie projects under the new company. Ong was first assigned to Cuneta more than 30 years ago by Viva’s Advertising and Promotion division to manage her promotions.
“I am very excited to work with them and please join me in giving them a warm welcome,” Cuneta said, sharing the contact details of both women for those interested in booking her.
Cuneta, who recently celebrated her 60th birthday on January 6, also shared her enthusiasm for aging, posting: “AGING, MY FRIENDS, IS A PRIVILEGE!!! Thank You, Lord!”
