MANILA — AirAsia Philippines announced that all its international flights, along with those of AirAsia Malaysia, will operate from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 starting March 29, 2026.
Currently, AirAsia conducts its international operations from NAIA Terminal 3.
“This terminal transfer is part of New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation’s (NNIC) ongoing terminal reassignment program to enhance terminal operations and passenger experience at the country’s main gateway,” the airline said.
Under the new arrangement, check-in, boarding, and baggage claim for all AirAsia international flights will be handled at Terminal 1. Passengers are advised to arrive at least three hours before departure and to follow terminal signage for guidance.
“Affected passengers will be notified via registered email and SMS. Please wait for it at your registered contact details,” the carrier said. “Please note that from March 29 onwards, only the terminal will be changed while the flight schedule remains the same.”
AirAsia Philippines confirmed that all domestic flights will continue to operate from NAIA Terminal 2.
