MANILA — After a year away from television, actress Bea announced she will soon return to GMA for a new soap opera.

“I don’t know if I can share it just yet. But it’s something really brave. It’s something that I’ve never done before. Because, let me say, it’s very timely. Especially with what’s happening in our country right now,” Bea said when asked about her upcoming project.

When asked if it would be a political drama, Bea laughed, leaving the details unconfirmed.

Aside from her acting comeback, Bea continues to focus on her bag brand, Bash.

“And then, I’m still very busy with [bag brand] Bash. We will have a lot of very exciting collaborations this year that I’m sure you would be surprised to hear,” she said. “And, yeah, so basically, I’m still wearing two different hats. My celebrity hat and my entrepreneur hat. So, Bash is producing something for Chinese New Year. ‘The Year of the Bash.’ It’s our red capsule collection. I think people are going to gravitate towards the red.”
