MANILA — Longtime reality show “Pinoy Big Brother” and its iconic Bahay ni Kuya may see a new location in upcoming seasons, a producer confirmed.
In a video interview with host Bianca Gonzalez ahead of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” Business Unit Head Marcus Vinuya addressed questions about the show’s future.
“Yes, there are definitely plans to move, but it’s something we’re still exploring [and] studying,” Vinuya said. “It might be sooner than you think, and we will cross the bridge when we get there.” He added that relocating would be a nostalgic moment for everyone involved.
Gonzalez recalled the demolition of the Bahay ni Kuya extension to make way for another reality series, “Pinoy Dream Academy,” and said she felt sentimental at the time. She also noted that the production team often jokes that each season may be the last in the house — something Vinuya confirms to his staff.
“Definitely it will happen, it will come to a point that we need to find a new house,” Vinuya reiterated, emphasizing that a new venue could bring excitement for viewers and contestants alike.
Vinuya also explained that the house layout has remained largely unchanged since “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso” in 2019, with only the interior updated over time.
“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” concluded with Caprice Cayetano and Lella Ford being voted as the Big winners.
