MANILA – Actress and singer Jillian Ward released a new track titled “Pumapag-ibig” on Saturday, March 21.

The song, a danceable pop number, explores the emotions of falling in love, including overthinking and the excitement that comes with new romance.

“After recently celebrating 16 years in the industry and renewing her ties with Sparkle and GMA, Jillian found the perfect emotional clarity to finish this highly-anticipated track,” Sparkle said in an Instagram post.

The track was produced in collaboration with Kreativ U’s Kim Hun Jik (Jack). Jillian also helped revise the lyrics to make the song more personal to her experience.

Jillian recently lent her voice for the original soundtrack of her ongoing series “Never Say Die.” Last year, she released the single “Be All Mine,” which also focused on themes of young love.
