MANILA – Host and actress Kris Aquino appears to be recovering steadily, as she was recently spotted out with longtime friends and family.

Makeup artist Jonathan Velasco shared a video on social media showing himself and colleague RB Chanco preparing Kris for a night out. In the clips, she was connected to an intravenous (IV) line.

Later, Kris was seen outside a Bonifacio Global City establishment with her youngest son, actor Dingdong Dantes, and show writer and producer Darla Sauler. Both Dingdong and Darla have been close friends of Kris for years and visited her while she sought treatment in the United States for multiple autoimmune conditions.

Kris and Dingdong previously worked together in the 2011 film Segunda Mano, and she served as godmother at his 2014 wedding to Marian Rivera. Sauler has also been a frequent collaborator on Kris’ former morning show, Kris TV.

Earlier this month, Kris attended a belated birthday lunch at Malacañan Palace hosted by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and organized by fashion designer Michael Leyva. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. briefly joined the event to greet Kris and take photos with her and the First Lady.

Kris turned 55 in February and has expressed gratitude for reaching another milestone despite her ongoing battle with nine autoimmune diseases. She is also planning to launch a video podcast in the near future.

Dingdong Dantes, meanwhile, is preparing for his upcoming Kapuso series Master Cutter, which will premiere on Netflix on April 17 and on television on April 20.
