MANILA – Filipino families receiving remittances from select Middle East countries can enjoy transaction rebates through the Maya app, the company announced.
From March 23 to April 10, 2026, users who receive remittances from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Lebanon, and Jordan can unlock rebates on ATM withdrawals and InstaPay transfers.
Eligible users receive an invitation to activate Maya XP, a feature that allows app users to access additional benefits as they engage with their accounts, usually within one to three days of receiving a qualifying remittance.
Maya XP can be activated within the app through the wallet dashboard or profile page by completing a quick setup and providing consent. Once activated, rebates are applied automatically to qualifying transactions.
ATM withdrawals will earn a PHP18 rebate per transaction, while InstaPay bank transfers will receive a PHP15 rebate per transaction. Cashback is credited to the user’s Maya wallet on the same day the transaction occurs.
Eligible users may also receive 1 to 3 percent cashback on mobile load purchases, depending on their Maya XP level, helping families stay connected with relatives working abroad.
“With many overseas Filipinos in the Middle East supporting their families back home, we aim to make it easier for households to access and make the most of these remittances by reducing everyday transaction costs,” said Maya Group president and Maya Bank co-founder Shailesh Baidwan.
