MANILA — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) will implement a four-day work schedule beginning Monday, April 6, 2026, as part of the government’s energy conservation efforts.

In an advisory, the agency said the compressed work week follows Memorandum Circular 114 issued by Malacañang on March 6, aimed at conserving energy resources amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Under the new schedule, LTFRB offices will be open from Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Fridays designated as non-working days for most employees.

The LTFRB said essential personnel, including transportation inspectors, the 24/7 hotline team, and other employees with critical duties, will continue to observe a five-day work week to ensure uninterrupted delivery of services.

For inquiries, the public may contact the LTFRB via its official Facebook page, Viber at 0956-761-0739, or through the Public Assistance and Complaint Desk at pacd@ltfrb.gov.ph or complaints@ltfrb.gov.ph.
