
MANILA — The Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) arrested 332 people for various cyber offenses during the first quarter of 2026.
In a weekend news release, the PNP-ACG reported that the arrests were made through the implementation of 337 cyber warrants from January 1 to March 31. Of the total, 119 arrests were made via service of warrants, 205 through entrapment operations, and eight during the execution of warrants to search, seize, and examine computer data.
The agency also referred 593 cases for further action, conducted 7,129 cyber patrolling activities, and completed 226 digital forensic examinations during the period.
In addition, 74 victims were rescued, and 143 individuals were convicted in relation to cybercrime offenses in the first quarter.
“The PNP ACG is steadfast in its mission to fortify cyber intelligence, sharpen investigative and forensic capabilities, intensify cyber patrols, and expand public awareness programs to effectively address emerging cyber threats,” said Brig. Gen. Wilson Asueta.
