MANILA — Filipino girl group BINI has been named in Rolling Stone’s “20 Acts We Can’t Wait to See at Coachella,” placing 15th on the American publication’s list.

“BINI’s vibrant pop songs and animated choreography feel tailor-made for the kind of explosive visual spectacle that Coachella promises year after year,” Rolling Stone said in its write-up.

The top five on the list include Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Katseye, Karol G, and FKA Twigs, with other acts such as Nine Inch Noize, Pink Pantheress, The Strokes, Iggy Pop, Addison Rae, Clipse, David Byrne, Young Thug, Geese, Turnstile, The xx, Rusowsky, Gigi Perez, and Dijon also featured.

BINI is currently in Los Angeles for their Coachella performances on April 10 and April 17, where they will become the first P-Pop group to perform at the festival. Afterward, they are scheduled to perform at the Grammy Museum for Grammy Studios’ “Global Spin Live!” series.

The group previously danced to “Salamin, Salamin” with the Clippers Spirit cheerleaders and participated in the Filipino Heritage Night of the LA Clippers at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

BINI is set to release their new EP, Signals, on April 9, alongside a docuseries on Netflix on April 10. They will also stage Signals concerts in Manila on June 20 and Cebu on July 11.
