MANILA, Philippines – Former President Rodrigo Duterte’s common law wife Honeylet Avanceña and their daughter Kitty Duterte called for solid support for the senatorial slate of the embattled former leader known as the DuterTEN. 

The mother and daughter showed up at the Quezon City campaign rally of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP) – Laban on Sunday to woo voters for a block vote. 

Avanceña told the crowd to choose the right leaders to take helm of the government. 

“Sana ho, tayong Pilipino, magtanda na tayo. Gusto ko lumuhod, umiyak dito — magtanda na tayo. Pumili na tayo ng mga taong matino, tapat, at ‘yung magsisilbi sa bayan. Hindi ang pagsisilbihan ang sarili,” Avancena said. 

Kitty meanwhile recounted having witnessed what their camp believes was the “kidnapping” of her dad by the Philippine government. 

“Nandito ako ngayon dahil kinuha nila sa amin, sa ating lahat, higit sa lahat, sa akin ang tatay ko,” she said. 

“Noong March 11, 2025, nasaksihan ko ang pag-kidnap at pag-abuso nila sa tatay ko,” she said. 

“Suportahan natin ang PDP-Laban senatorial slate o mas kinikilalang ‘DuterTEN.’ Mag-vote straight tayo, mag-block vote tayo upang mahirapan silang mandaya,” she added.

The DuterTEN slate includes Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, Doc Richard Mata, Atty. Vic Rodriguez, Atty. Raul Lambino, Senators Ronald Dela Rosa and Bong Go, Philip Salvador, Atty. Jayvee Hinlo and Rep. Rodante Marcoleta. 

Lawyer Israelito Torreon appeared and spoke on behalf of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. 

Meanwhile, even with Vice President Sara duterte’s endorsement, reelectionist Sen. Imee Marcos and Rep. Camille Villar still weren’t included in the Duterte official slate.
