MANILA — Actor Daniel Padilla expressed his frustration over perceived corruption and selective accountability in the country by reposting a carousel of quote and art cards from the page Hacktibista on social media.

One of the quote cards read, “Bakit ang mga lumalaban sa korapsyon ang hinuhuli, at hindi ang mga mismong korap?”(Why are those fighting corruption being arrested, and not the corrupt themselves?).

The post highlights various personalities who have faced legal action instead of alleged corrupt officials. Among those listed were participants in the September 21 rally, student leaders, a graffiti artist, Cebu protesters accused of damaging government property, and a Halloween reveler who was summoned for wearing a police costume.

Hacktibista’s post also features a live countdown marking 100 days and 14 hours since President Marcos delivered his State of the Nation Address (SONA) last July. It includes soundbites from other figures sharing similar concerns and a news segment on the destruction caused by Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) in Cebu.
