MANILA — Actor Jake Ejercito completed the 2026 Osaka Marathon, covering the 42-kilometer course in a personal best time of 3:38:20.

Clad in black with a white cap and running shoes, Jake tracked his performance on the Strava app, which recorded an average pace of 5:10 per kilometer.

“Underestimated the distance. Discipline faded late in the build and the marathon made sure I paid for it. Got ugly, but dug deep and stayed honest,” Jake said in an Instagram post. “Not the race I hoped for. Still a PR, still moving forward.”

Photos shared by the actor show him running around Osaka, sometimes accompanied by fellow Filipinos, and wearing a bracelet bearing the name “Ellie,” his daughter with ex-partner Andi Eigenmann.

Fellow celebrities who congratulated Jake in the comments included Donny Pangilinan and his sister Hannah, Jameson Blake, Rambo Nunez, and Aya Fernandez.

Jake previously completed several half-marathons and the 2025 Chicago Marathon, marking him as a familiar figure in the running community.
