MANILA — President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said government services will remain uninterrupted despite the ongoing national energy emergency linked to external pressures on fuel supply and prices.

In his latest vlog, Marcos said the government will continue operating at full capacity even as the country deals with the impact of the Middle East crisis on energy resources.

“Hindi natin hahayaang maparalisa ang serbisyong binibigay ng gobyerno, anuman ang problemang hinaharap (We will not allow government services to be paralyzed, regardless of the problems that lie ahead),” he said.

The President reiterated that the administration remains focused on delivering key services across sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, sports development, tourism, and culture.

Marcos also highlighted ongoing government initiatives, particularly the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program, which seeks to reduce the country’s housing backlog.

He cited his recent visit to the Palayan City Township Project in Nueva Ecija, where several housing units under the program have already been completed and are now occupied.

The 23-hectare development is projected to house over 22,000 beneficiaries upon completion and will include vertical housing units as well as community facilities.
