MANILA – The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) will conduct an electronic public bidding (e-bidding) on June 17 to 18, 2026 for the sale of real properties located in the Visayas and Mindanao.
According to PDIC, submission of bids will open at 9 a.m. on June 17 and close at 1 p.m. on June 18, with the opening of bids scheduled at 2 p.m. on the same day.
The properties will be sold exclusively through PDIC’s online portal, allowing interested buyers to participate remotely through its e-bidding system.
A total of 44 real properties will be offered, including residential and agricultural lots, as well as one mixed residential-agricultural property.
Of the total, 24 are residential lots, 19 are agricultural lots, and one is a mixed-use property, with land sizes ranging from 80 square meters to 19.5 hectares.
Nine of the properties are located in Koronadal City in South Cotabato, while others in Mindanao are situated in Agusan del Norte, Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, North Cotabato, and South Cotabato. In the Visayas, properties are located in Antique, Cebu, Guimaras, and Iloilo.
PDIC said participation requires one-time registration through its official portal, where full property details, bidding procedures, and requirements are available.
All properties are offered on an “as-is, where-is” basis, and the agency urged bidders to conduct due diligence before participating.
For agricultural lots, winning bidders are required to submit certification from the Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer (PARO) and an affidavit of aggregate landholdings within 15 days after the e-bidding. The documents must confirm compliance with agrarian reform coverage and the five-hectare landholding limit.
The agency also noted that authorized representatives may submit a Special Power of Attorney or Secretary’s Certificate, downloadable from the portal.
As statutory receiver, PDIC said it liquidates assets of closed banks to maximize recoveries and help settle claims of depositors and creditors, with proceeds going to the Deposit Insurance Fund.
For inquiries, interested buyers may contact PDIC through its Public Assistance Department hotline, toll-free numbers, email, or official social media pages.
