NEW YORK – More details surfaced over the weekend about the reported wedding of singer Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce, which allegedly took place Friday at Madison Square Garden in New York under tight security.

According to the report, Swift’s publicist Tree Paine confirmed that the ceremony was held and shared limited details, including the couple’s use of Christian Dior attire, Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewelry.

ABC’s “Good Morning America” anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, along with former NFL player Michael Strahan, also discussed attending the event. Stephanopoulos said the venue had been transformed into what he described as “this garden inside the Garden that was just so beautiful.”

He added that despite the scale of Madison Square Garden and the number of celebrity guests, the wedding felt intimate and personal.

Roberts said the couple wrote their own vows, while Stephanopoulos said Swift and Kelce carried “little books” during the ceremony, which he said was officiated by comedian Adam Sandler.

“They had their neighbors, their high school friends. It was like any wedding that you would attend,” Roberts said.

Roberts also said singer Stevie Nicks performed during the celebration.

The report said guests included celebrities from entertainment and sports, such as Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Hugh Grant, Bradley Cooper, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid and former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

Entertainment Weekly also cited a now-deleted social media post by AMC Entertainment CEO Adam Aron describing the venue as resembling “an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat.”

According to the report, Aron said the vows were “long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing explorations by each” about how the couple met and why they wanted to marry.

Singer Nelly later posted a video on Instagram calling the wedding “incredible.”

The report added that Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August through an Instagram post captioned, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
