MANILA — Vice President Sara Z. Duterte extended warm New Year greetings to Filipinos worldwide, calling on everyone to welcome 2026 with hope, courage, and unity.

In her message, Duterte encouraged Filipinos to leave behind doubts and fears as they enter the new year.

“Ngayon ang simula ng isang panibagong kabanata, isang malinis na pahina na punung-puno ng pag-asa. Hayaan nating mag-alab muli ang ating tapang at determinasyon,” she said, emphasizing resilience and determination in facing challenges.

She also urged citizens to see the new year as an opportunity for unity and renewed perspective, highlighting the importance of collective strength and faith in driving meaningful change.

“Sama-sama tayong magsikap at magdasal na ang 2026 ay maging taon ng pag-asa at pagpapala,” Duterte said.

Concluding her message, she reminded Filipinos to love the country and strive for the good of the nation and its families.

“Mahalin natin ang Pilipinas—para sa Diyos, sa Bayan, at sa bawat Pamilyang Pilipino,” she said.
