MANILA — Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced special introductory fares for its upcoming nonstop Manila–Chicago service, which is set to begin on November 9, 2026.

In an advisory, PAL said roundtrip economy base fares for the new route will be offered at USD 667 for bookings made from April 16 to May 31, 2026.

The Manila–Chicago flights will operate three times weekly—every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Flights will depart Manila in the afternoon and arrive at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport in the afternoon local time, while return flights will leave Chicago in the evening and arrive in Manila the following morning.

“Chicago is considered one of the premier hubs in the United States, and our entry into this vibrant city will provide direct connectivity to the Midwest,” PAL president Richard Nuttall said in an emailed statement.

“At the same time, serving the Chicago-Manila corridor will create vital links to key regional destinations and major Philippine domestic markets through our Manila hub,” he added.

PAL said Chicago will become its eighth destination in the United States and its territories.

The airline also announced an increase in frequency for other US routes, with Manila–Los Angeles flights rising to 18 weekly trips from 14 starting June 1, while Manila–Seattle flights will operate six times weekly in June and July.

The carrier previously said it has secured sufficient jet fuel supply to support its operations amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
