MANILA — Actress Katrina Halili chose not to directly confirm or deny the current status of her relationship with singer Kris Lawrence in an interview with “24 Oras,” opting instead to keep the matter private.

When asked about their relationship, Halili declined to give a clear answer.

“Sa balikan po? Wala, secret lang. Secret. Wala tayong sasagutin, bawal daw. Bawal daw po sumagot,” she said.

Despite avoiding the question, Halili said she is happy with how things are between them, particularly in terms of co-parenting their daughter.

“Happy ako na nakikita ko na nagiging tatay talaga siya, at nararamdaman ko talaga ‘yong pagiging present niya as tatay,” she said.

Halili and Lawrence are frequently seen together on social media, especially during trips with their daughter Katie, reflecting what appears to be a cordial co-parenting arrangement.

The two were in a relationship for five years before breaking up in 2014. Since their separation more than a decade ago, they have continued to co-parent their daughter.
