MANILA – Singer Sarah Geronimo praised P-pop girl group BINI for their growing international recognition, saying their achievements reflect the resilience and ambition of Filipino artists on the global stage.

In a media report, it said that Geronimo said the group’s success symbolizes more than personal milestones, describing it as a reflection of Filipino talent breaking barriers worldwide.

“Receiving the Billboard Women in Music Global Force Award is such a meaningful achievement. I once said this award represents courage and hope — courage to break barriers, and hope that Filipino music can reach and inspire the world. Seeing you now carry that message makes us all proud and even more inspired,” she said.

She also commended BINI for consistently promoting Filipino artistry on an international platform, noting that their rising profile helps bring Original Pilipino Music (OPM) to a wider global audience.

Geronimo added that the group’s dedication highlights the strength of local talent and shows that Filipino artists can compete on the world stage.

She encouraged the group to continue expanding their creative boundaries.

“Thank you for proudly representing our country. Keep shining, and never be afraid to break boundaries and be whoever you want to be as artists. Congratulations again, BINI!”

BINI received the Global Force Award at the Billboard Women in Music ceremony held at the Hollywood Palladium on April 29 (U.S. time).

The recognition adds to the group’s recent milestones, including becoming the first all-Filipino act to perform at Coachella.
