MANILA — “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” Season 1 housemate Ralph de Leon addressed his viral “Tonight” meme with a witty remark after a hosting segment at the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night.

In a report, De Leon was among the segment hosts of the pageant finale held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, alongside actors Marco Gumabao and Jake Cuenca, who appeared with his rumored girlfriend, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo.

Also part of the lineup were Miss Universe 2025 first runner-up Veena Praveenar and Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi, whose baby bump was visibly seen on stage.

De Leon was assigned to introduce Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Ahtisa Manalo during her final walk before handing over her crown. However, he got stuck repeatedly saying “Tonight” due to a technical issue, completing his line on the fourth attempt.

“Fourth time’s a charm,” he said before proceeding with his script.

Manalo later completed her final walk before crowning La Union representative Bea Millan-Windorski as Miss Universe Philippines 2026 shortly before midnight.

Following the onstage mishap, De Leon became the subject of memes online. Content creator Senyora also joined the discussion, posting, “I think hindi kaya tonight… tomorrow na lang.”

De Leon responded by reposting the comment and replying, “Di naman tayo umabot ng tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, Windorski is set to represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico later this year.

The Miss Universe Philippines Organization has yet to announce the remaining placements and special titles for the Top 7, with official results expected in the coming days.
