NEW YORK — All members of BLACKPINK attended the 2026 Met Gala, marking the first time the South Korean girl group appeared complete at fashion’s most prestigious night.

In a report, it said that Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo — with Jisoo making her Met Gala debut — each individually walked the red carpet at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Rosé wore a black gown from Yves Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, her third collaboration with the designer for the Met Gala. The look featured a thigh-high slit and a large sparkling bird brooch. She was styled by Law Roach and accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including a diamond necklace.

Jennie attended her fourth consecutive Met Gala, wearing a strapless blue-silver sequined column gown from Chanel by Matthieu Blazy. The dress reportedly took 540 hours to complete and was styled by Sam Woolf. She paired the look with Chanel High Jewelry pieces, including gold and white diamond earrings, with her hair styled in a twisted updo and her eyebrows kept thin to highlight the jewelry.

Lisa, who made her Met Gala debut in 2025, served this year as a member of the event’s hosting committee, becoming the first K-pop artist to hold the role alongside international celebrities including Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Smith, Doja Cat, Teyana Taylor, Misty Copeland, A’ja Wilson, Gwendoline Christie, Elizabeth Debicki, Angela Bassett, and Rebecca Hall.

She wore a sparkling sheer white gown by Robert Wun, paired with a veil held up by 3D-printed arm structures molded from her body and designed in poses inspired by traditional Thai dance.

Jisoo, attending the Met Gala for the first time, wore a glittering pink strapless and backless column dress from Dior by Jonathan Anderson, decorated with sequins and fabric petals. She paired the outfit with Cartier jewelry, including a choker, diamond earrings, and four rings. She said the preparation for her look took up to five hours.

Last year, all BLACKPINK members except Jisoo attended the Met Gala ahead of their “Deadline” world tour, which ran from July 2025 to January 2026, including two shows in the Philippines in November 2025. The group later released their “Deadline” extended play, featuring the singles “Jump” and “Go.”

The 2026 Met Gala also saw Korean singer EJAE and Audrey Nuna making their debut, while their collaborator Rei Ami was absent. Voice actor Ahn Hyo-seop attended the event.

Held annually on the first Monday of May, the Met Gala is a fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute and is known for bringing together major figures in fashion, entertainment, and pop culture.

This year’s theme, “Costume Art,” highlighted the relationship between the human form and fashion as wearable art, with guests encouraged to interpret the body as a canvas through their outfits.
