MANILA — Actress Ruffa Gutierrez expressed pride and joy after witnessing her daughter Lorin graduate in California, marking a major milestone in her academic journey.

A report said that Lorin completed her degree in Arts in Advertising from Seaver College at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California. She is one of Ruffa’s daughters with ex-husband Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas.

Ruffa shared a video compilation on Instagram showing highlights of Lorin’s graduation ceremony and their family celebration.

“From tiny footsteps to graduation walks. So proud of you, @loringabriella. And just like that, my baby girl is a college graduate. Watching you grow into the independent young woman you are today has been my greatest joy,” Ruffa wrote.

“You worked so hard for this moment, and you deserve it all. Forever proud of you, Lorin. This is only the beginning. Your family, friends, followers, fans, Venice and I love you so much,” she added.

Several celebrities extended their congratulations, including Karla Estrada, Isabelle Daza, Vina Morales, and Sunshine Cruz. Ruffa’s younger brother Richard Gutierrez also congratulated her and his niece.

“Super proud of you mareeee!!! love youuu ! congratulations my dearest Lorin! proud tita here!” Karla wrote.

“Wow congratulations to my inaanak Lorin. So proud of you. And mare congratulations to you too for bringing her up into a fine, beautiful inside and out woman,” Vina commented.

In a separate post, Lorin thanked her family, friends, and supporters for being part of her academic journey.

“So grateful for all the love and support that made this moment possible. My family, my mom, my friends, and the @pepperdine community. Above all, thank you God for guiding me every step of the way,” Lorin wrote.
