MANILA — Content creator and entrepreneur Rosmar Tan Pamulaklakin criticized actress Inah de Belen following the latter’s response to a social media comment comparing their looks.

The exchange stemmed from a Facebook post shared by De Belen on May 2, where a user said the actress resembled Tan and initially mistook her for the content creator. The post featured De Belen with her boyfriend, Jake Vargas, during their participation in the Flores de Maria 2026 event in Maysantol, Bulacan.

“Sorry po ha,, nagtataka ako bkt nanjan si jake vargaz,, akala ko talaga si rosmar kung dko nbasa pangalan nag 2 tingin pa ako ang mag jowa pala talaga,,ang ganda mo pati ng damit mo,” the user commented in a now-deleted post.

De Belen initially said she was unfamiliar with Tan, and later stated she had looked her up, asking netizens not to link them.

“Na-research ko na siya plssss don’t associate me with her ew,” De Belen said.

The remark drew a response from Tan, who questioned the actress’ statement and reacted to the use of “ew.”

“Kung maka ‘ew’ ka naman sakin at di n’ya daw ako kilala. Nahiya naman ako sa’yo Filipina actress nakalagay pero di din naman kita kilala,” Tan posted on Facebook.

“Mas maraming beses pa ata ako lumabas sa tv kesa sayo ante. Kung maka ‘ew’ wagas inaano ka?” she added.

In a separate post, Tan said she was offended by De Belen’s reaction despite not knowing each other, and also referenced their appearance and social media following.

“Kung maka ew ka naman sakin. Mas mukha ka pa ngang mom of 3 sakin. At kung makasabi ka ng di mo ako kilala? Mas di kita kilala san ka lumabas?” she said.

“Hiyang hiya naman sayo ang 30M total foll0wers ko. Kala ko di mo ko kilala? Pero sasabihan mo ako ng ew at nakaka bwisit? Okay lang sana na di mo ako kilala pero anong ginawa ko sayo? Para sabihan mo ako ng EW? Starlet na di pa nga sikat attitude na agad. Pwe!” she added.

De Belen has not issued further statements following the exchange.
