
MANILA — Young actress Andrea Brillantes was among the top honorees at the 2026 TikTok Shop Creator Awards, which recognized local entrepreneurs and content creators driving growth on the platform’s e-commerce feature.
In a report, it said that the awards highlighted the rising role of creator-led commerce in shaping how brands connect with consumers online.
Franco Aligaen, marketing lead of TikTok Shop Philippines, said the initiative reflects how creators have evolved beyond content production into business-building.
“Creators are at the heart of discovery e-commerce, not only redefining how users experience and engage with brands, but building communities around various interests,” Aligaen added.
Brillantes was named Gen Z CEO Celebrity of the Year, recognized for the strong performance of her cosmetics brand Lucky Beauty, which she launched in 2023.
Meanwhile, Dani Barretto was named Celebrity Creator of the Year for her use of livestreaming to strengthen audience engagement while expanding her business ventures.
Other awardees included Nina Ellaine Dizon, founder and CEO of Colourette Cosmetics and Fresh Formula, who was named Mega Campaign Champion for her influence in the beauty industry and contributions to locally driven beauty narratives.
Additional honorees were Miss Dioza as Super Star Creator of the Year, Lierge Perey as New Star Creator of the Year, Reinalie Morales as recipient of the Live Record-Breaker Award, and M-Commerce Corporation as MCN Agency of the Year.
TikTok Shop Philippines reportedly doubled its active creator base year-on-year, reflecting rapid growth in creator-led commerce where livestreamers, affiliates, and content creators play a key role in product discovery and sales.
Citing the Influencer Marketing in Southeast Asia 2025 report by Cube x Impact, the platform noted that 83 percent of consumers have made purchases through affiliate links.
