MANILA – Vincent Co, fiancé of actress Bea Alonzo, appeared in public on May 14, the date reportedly set for their wedding in Spain, amid conflicting reports that the ceremony had been either postponed or cancelled.
Co, the president of Puregold, attended the 2026 Tindahan Ni Aling Puring (TNAP) Sari-Sari Store Convention at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from May 14 to 16, together with his father, Lucio Co.
The event also featured several celebrity performers and guests, including Kyline Alcantara, Angeline Quinto, and Kathryn Bernardo.
The public appearance came as confusion spread among invited guests after organizers reportedly sent two separate announcements regarding the supposed wedding.
One message stated: “Hi everyone, We would like to let you know that Bea and Vincent’s wedding has been postponed to a later date. We will share updated details with you as soon as they become available. Thank you very much for your understanding and continued support,”
Another message sent to guests said: “Hi. I’m messaging on behalf of Bea. We sincerely apologize for the sudden notice, but unfortunately, the wedding has been canceled. We understand that many of you made time, effort and arrangements to celebrate this special day with them and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause,” the other messaged sent to guests said.
It added: “Bea is currently on a flight right now, but she will personally reach out and message everyone as soon as she lands. We kindly ask for understanding and prayers for her during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your understanding.”
Several invited guests were reportedly left confused after receiving both notices regarding the event, which had been widely anticipated to take place in Spain.
