MANILA — Filipino singer Matty Juniosa concluded his run in Britain’s Got Talent in fourth place, capping a season where he earned two Golden Buzzers and became one of the program’s standout acts.

In a report, it said that in the finale broadcast early Sunday morning (Manila time), Juniosa performed Nothing Compares 2 U originally by Sinead O’Connor as his closing number.

The season was won by the Hawkstone Farmers Choir, while drone art collective Celestials placed second and dance duo Anastasiia and Salsa finished third.

Juniosa gained early momentum in the competition after receiving a Golden Buzzer from judge Simon Cowell for his rendition of Purple Rain performed earlier in the season.

He later earned a second Golden Buzzer from judge Amanda Holden after his performance of Dream On by Aerosmith.

Based in Glasgow, Juniosa works part-time as a waiter and has also been cast as Annas in a West End production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
