MANILA — Host-comedian Vice Ganda has strongly denied viral online claims alleging that they purchased dozens of tickets for the upcoming BTS concerts in the Philippines next year.

In a report, it said that the issue stemmed from posts on X this week as Filipino fans attempted to secure tickets to BTS’ first Philippine shows in a decade, set to take place at the Philippine Sports Stadium this March as part of the group’s “Arirang” world tour.

The high demand and limited ticket allocation led to widespread frustration among fans, particularly as many were unable to secure seats during the sale period.

Amid these tensions, a now-deleted post on X claimed that Vice Ganda had purchased 50 tickets for the concerts.

“Mahiya ka naman Vice Ganda… 2 [tickets] lang max sa website pero sa’yo petiks lang,” the now-deleted post said. “Nakakahiya galawan mo. Sana lumaban naman kayo ng patas.”

Vice Ganda saw the post before it was removed and reposted it on their X account, responding with strong language.

“Mas mahiya ka at ang mga kapwa mong mga bobo na mapagpaniwala sa mga tismis na pang-tanga!” Vice said. “Nawa’y magpuyos ang mga puso niyo sa galit ng likha ng mga maliliit niyong utak na kayang gaguhin ng fake news!”

The host-comedian also responded to another now-deleted post from a different user who insulted them and believed the allegation was true.

“Bobong mapagpaniwala ampotah! San galing ang 50tix? Aanhin ko yun? 100 ba yung mata at tenga ko kung sakaling manunuod man ako!!!” Vice said.

Vice Ganda added that they were not even certain of their schedule during BTS’ Philippine concert dates, which are set on March 13 and 24, 2027.
