MANILA — Former child stars Ryzza Mae Dizon and Bimby Aquino-Yap were reunited during Ryzza’s 21st birthday celebration on the noontime show Eat Bulaga last Friday, June 12.

In a report, it said the two became friends after working together in the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “My Little Bossings,” where they starred alongside Vic Sotto and Kris Aquino.

Bimby was six years old and Ryzza was eight when they filmed “My Little Bossings.”

After 13 years, the two reunited on “Eat Bulaga,” where Bimby surprised Ryzza during her birthday celebration. Kris Aquino’s youngest child also performed a song number, singing “Maybe This Time.”

After his performance, Bimby told the Dabarkads hosts that Ryzza was his “first kiss” due to a scene they shared in “My Little Bossings.”

Co-host Miles Ocampo asked Bimby about his fondest memories while filming the movie.

“Ang dami kong memories during those times. It’s beautiful talaga. Siyempre na-meet ko si Ryzza,” Bimby said.

When asked for his birthday message for Ryzza, he said:

“Sana maibalik natin ang dati. Our friendship dati. Kasi, di ba, we lost contact?”

“Never change kasi from the time na I’ve known you since you were eight years old, hindi ka nag-bago. So stay the same person you’ve always been. A kind, siyempre beautiful, and caring person you are.

“At saka kung hindi man maging tayo, ninong ako. Mga Dabarakads, if we don’t end up together, kailangan ako ang ninong sa kasal niya.”

Bimby also gave Ryzza a necklace, which he personally placed on her, drawing cheers and “kilig” reactions from the studio audience.

The two later posed for photos and recreated their 2013 promotional pictorial for “My Little Bossings.”
