MANILA — PBA courtside reporter Apple David has posted new videos showing her with collegiate basketball player Chad Gammad, drawing mixed reactions online.

In a report, it said that the 33-year-old courtside reporter shared on TikTok a 27-second video containing pictures and clips with the 18-year-old.

Apple and Chad were seen playing basketball, eating out, and working out at the gym.

The PBA courtside reporter and content creator did not include any caption other than a heart emoji and a tag of Chad’s profile.

She also used the song “Those Eyes” by New West as background music for the video.

At the time of posting, the video’s comment section was turned off. However, netizens continued to repost the clips on other social media platforms and criticize the courtside reporter over her relationship with the young basketball player.

In another post, she shared a “POV” about the feeling of being chosen by the person one loves, writing, “Buti nalang nagclick,” in the caption.

Meanwhile, in a TikTok live session, Apple David confirmed that she and Chad Gammad refer to each other as “baby.”

This came after she read a netizen’s comment: “Na para bang mhie at nak ang tawagan.”

“Hindi ako ma-o-offend dyan kasi baby ‘yung tawagan namin… Tapos nagagalit pa siya kapag tinawag ko siyang Chad. Dapat baby,” she said.

“Oh, sasabihin na naman literal na baby kasi mommy ka at baby mo siya. Ay nakaka-offend, ‘yun? Call sign namin, baby. Even in public, kahit nandyan pa coaches niya, kahit nandyan pa teammates niya, baby,” she added.
