MANILA — Television host-actress Kris Aquino made a surprise appearance on the noontime variety show Eat Bulagaon Thursday, joining lighthearted jokes involving her son Bimby Aquino and host Ryzza Mae Dizon.

In a report, it said that Bimby, who has been serving as a guest host on the program for the past two weeks, surprised viewers during the show’s “Sugod Bahay” segment by announcing that his mother was in the studio.

Cameras then showed Aquino entering the studio, smiling and waving to the audience while dressed in a white shirt and black bottoms.

Following her arrival, several hosts, including Joey de Leon, Maine Mendoza, Allan K, and Miles Ocampo, encouraged Dizon to approach Aquino. The actress then joined the playful banter by telling Dizon to “kiss her future mother-in-law.”

Aquino also addressed reports that Dizon had been teased over her on-screen interactions with Bimby.

“I heard that you’re being teased. Don’t mind them because success is the best revenge,” Aquino said.

She later joked that, as her son’s “wardrobe stylist,” she helped prepare his outfit for the show and pointed out the letter “R” on his jacket. Aquino also wiped sweat from Bimby’s face while on stage.

“’I love you’ to all the Dabarkads! Can I guest host next time?” Aquino told the audience, drawing cheers from those in attendance.

The actress also exchanged jokes with de Leon and continued the playful remarks by saying Dizon’s future name would be “Ryzza Mae Cojuangco-Aquino.”

Before leaving the stage, Aquino offered a piece of advice to her son.

“Bimb, you’re the man, be a gentleman. If you’re gonna eat out, dapat ikaw magbabayad,” she said.

Bimby and Dizon then resumed their hosting duties as the program continued.
