MANILA — Jonathan Sterling, the boyfriend of beauty queen Celeste Cortesi, has addressed rumors surrounding their relationship, dismissing speculation that the couple had separated.

In an Instagram post, Sterling said he decided to speak publicly after what he described as false allegations circulating online and in media reports.

“There have been a lot of false allegations going around online and in the media about me recently, so l’d like to break my silence, come back on social media, and take a moment to correct the record: I am NOT a millionaire. I’m a billionaire,” Sterling said.

“But seriously, if you want the full story, watch ‘Celeste Unscripted’ when it comes out later this year,” he added.

“Celeste Unscripted” is an upcoming eight-part documentary series that chronicles the life of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi.

The statement came amid reports claiming that Cortesi and Sterling had ended their relationship. The rumors also linked actress and beauty queen Bianca Manalo to the alleged split.

Earlier, Cortesi denied the breakup reports and said she and Sterling remain focused on their growing family as they await the birth of their first child, whom they plan to name Sergio.

“Jonny and I are good. Our focus remains on caring for our child, Sergio, and supporting our family. I believe some situations call for greater consideration and respect, especially when a child and family are already involved,” Cortesi said.

“Our priority is our family, and that is where our time, energy, and attention will remain. With that said, people can now relax and focus on their own lives instead,” she added.

Meanwhile, Sparkle GMA Artist Center also issued a statement denying rumors linking Manalo to the issue.

“On behalf of our Sparkle Artist, Bianca Manalo, we would like to clarify that there is no truth to rumors circulating about her involvement with another couple. She is single and not in any relationship.”
