MANILA – Beauty queen-actress Herlene Budol said she recently received an indecent proposal from an individual claiming to be a provincial governor, who allegedly offered her P150,000 for a one-night stand.

In a report, it said that in a post on her Facebook account, Budol shared a screenshot of what she said was her conversation with the individual. Based on the exchange, the sender allegedly asked if she was available for a one-night stand in exchange for P150,000.

Budol said she rejected the offer and responded by telling the sender to keep the money and instead use it to help the people in the province under his leadership.

“Women are not for sale!” she wrote in the caption of her post.

Budol did not identify the governor by name, and the identity of the individual shown in the screenshot has not been independently verified.

The post quickly circulated on social media, with many users expressing support for the actress and commending her for speaking out against what she described as inappropriate behavior.

As of this writing, no governor or government official has issued a public statement regarding Budol’s allegation.
