MANILA – Actor David Licauco recorded the fastest time among Filipino participants at HYROX Jakarta 2026 after setting a new personal best in the international fitness competition.
In a report, it said that Licauco completed the race in one hour, seven minutes and 38 seconds, making him the top-performing Filipino across all age groups in the Jakarta event.
He also finished ninth in the men’s 30–34 age group and placed 28th overall out of 1,221 competitors in the men’s open division.
The actor shared photos from the competition on Instagram, expressing gratitude to those who supported him and saying he aims to return with an even stronger performance.
“Whole lot of support. Coming back stronger,” he wrote.
The result improved on Licauco’s previous personal best of one hour, seven minutes and 48 seconds, which he achieved during his HYROX debut in Taipei earlier this year, where he also emerged as the top Filipino finisher.
HYROX is an international indoor fitness competition that combines eight one-kilometer runs with eight functional workout stations designed to test participants’ endurance and strength.
