MANILA—Regine Velasquez will hold the second day of her 40th anniversary “Finale” concert free of charge as a thanksgiving event for her fans.
In a report, it said that the two-day concert is scheduled on Oct. 17 and 18 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, with the Oct. 18 show designated as the complimentary performance.
According to an announcement from iMusic Entertainment, online registration for free tickets will open on July 30 at 6 p.m. The concert is being presented as a thanksgiving celebration marking Velasquez’s four decades in the entertainment industry.
The production will feature stage direction by Paolo Valenciano, musical direction by Raul Mitra, and artwork by Welbart Slowhands.
Organizers said pre-registration does not automatically guarantee a ticket. Only those who receive a claim ticket voucher through their SM Tickets account will be eligible to redeem complimentary tickets.
To discourage ticket scalping, organizers will implement a blind ticketing system, under which attendees will be assigned the best available seats during allocation instead of choosing their preferred seats.
Each registered mobile number or valid government-issued ID may be used to obtain a maximum of two reserved-seat tickets, subject to venue capacity.
Successful registrants may claim their ticket vouchers through their SM Tickets accounts beginning two weeks before the concert. Physical ticket redemption will run from Oct. 4 to Oct. 13 at authorized SM Tickets outlets.
Organizers reminded registrants that unclaimed tickets after the redemption period will be forfeited and that a valid government-issued ID will be required during ticket redemption.
Fans were also advised to monitor official SM Tickets channels for updates on the concert and ticket distribution.
