MANILA – The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) has launched an enhanced corporate website and its first electronic portal, MyPDIC, as part of efforts to expand digital services and improve access to its programs for stakeholders and the public.

The two digital platforms were unveiled during the PDIC’s 63rd anniversary program on July 1 at the PDIC Chino Building in Makati City, marking a key milestone in the state deposit insurer’s digital transformation initiatives.

PDIC President and Chief Executive Officer Roberto B. Tan said the new platforms are designed to improve service delivery.

“These platforms will make our services more accessible, efficient, and responsive to the needs of the public,” Tan said.

Department of Information and Communications Technology Undersecretary for E-Government David L. Almirol Jr. also welcomed the launch, saying it reflects the government’s continued adoption of digital technologies.

“The MyPDIC e-portal is a concrete example, a testimony, that modernization can actually happen. It’s not just about innovation. It’s about bringing government services closer to the people,” Almirol said.

According to the PDIC, the redesigned website features a more modern and user-friendly interface, allowing visitors easier access to information on deposit insurance, administrative issuances, corporate publications, public advisories, procurement projects, and other services.

Integrated into the website is the MyPDIC e-portal, a centralized online platform that enables clients to access services without visiting PDIC offices in person, streamlining transactions and improving convenience. The portal is linked with the corporation’s existing systems and serves banks, depositors and borrowers of closed banks, asset buyers, and job applicants.

Through the portal, bank representatives can receive notices, submit regulatory reports, monitor audit status, request certifications, and schedule briefings. Depositors of closed banks can update records, file and monitor deposit insurance claims, and receive email notifications on their applications. Borrowers may check loan information, make payments, and request or download loan-related documents. Asset buyers can participate in online public bidding, while job applicants can search for vacancies, submit application requirements, and monitor the status of their applications.

PDIC said the mobile-responsive platform was built to support future enhancements and additional services as the corporation responds to changing organizational requirements, stakeholder needs, and technological developments. It added that the launch of the enhanced website and MyPDIC supports its efforts to modernize operations, strengthen efficiency, and comply with national government policies and regulations.
