MANILA – Cash remittances from overseas Filipinos reached US$3.04 billion in June 2026, the highest monthly level recorded in the first half of the year, according to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
The United States remained the top source of remittance inflows in June, followed by Singapore and Saudi Arabia, based on reported remittance transactions by country of origin.
Seasonally adjusted personal remittances, which include cash sent through banks and informal channels as well as remittances in kind, also increased in June.
Both cash and personal remittances likewise posted growth during the January-to-June 2026 period.
The BSP said remittance inflows continued to support the income and spending of recipient households, contributing to overall domestic demand.
